St. Pauls Buildings

The development contains 57 affordable apartments for the Southern Housing Group, all with private balcony space. Eight of the flats are designed specifically for residents who use wheelchairs.

Three blocks are placed around an internal garden, overlooking a public right of way, with two of the blocks having a street facade and the third being a low curving garden block.

The use of industrial materials including creates a link with the neighbouring Brewery Square site with it’s industrial past. The landscaping continues this linkage with a curved Yorkstone gabion wall forming the centre piece of the garden and mitigating the storey change of level across the site.
