Oxford Science Park

Within the parameter of Oxford Science Park, Hamiltons was commissioned to design two buildings providing both office and research / laboratory facilities.

Over three storeys, the buildings are flexible to accommodate tenants floor by floor or as a single occupancy.

The two buildings are unified by a single roof, the space between providing the main entrance to the buildings, enhancing the building’s legibility

Both buildings are situated between an existing private road and a series of attenuation ponds to limit surface water outfalls. The buildings are comfort cooled and allow ample access for service and recycling vehicles. The floating form of the main building provides an under croft to accommodate car parking, with further, ample facilities for cycle parking.
